EBBC: Free Bike Lights Giveaway in Downtown Oakland
From EBBC:

On November 5th, Election Day-Eve AND the first night after Daylight Savings, we are partnering with the City of Oakland to hand out 115 FREE Planet Bike light sets (front and rear) at an undisclosed location!
All we can say at this point is that we will be at a popular intersection for bicyclists, somewhere in Downtown Oakland from 5pm to 7pm, to hand out the lights. You have to be biking to get a light set, and you have to stick around long enough for us to help you put the lights on your bike.
We will also be promoting Measure B1, the all-important Alameda County transportation measure on the Nov 6 ballot which, if passed, will bring in 1 billion dollars for bike and pedestrian improvements over the next 30 years.
Volunteer to distribute the lights with us on Nov 5th or to help out with assembling the lights ahead of time by CLICKING HERE and registering online.
What: FREE Bike Lights Giveaway!!!
When: Monday, November 5th, 5-7pm
Where: Downtown Oakland (that’s all we can say)
Why: ‘Cause riding in the dark, ninja-style, is illegal, dangerous, and not cool.
