East Palo Alto 101 Overcrossing Community Meetings

From eastpaloalto101.org:

The East Palo Alto 101 team would like to announce two more chances for you to make your voice heard. We’re hosting public meetings this coming Tuesday, December 11th, and Sunday, December 16th.  We’ve got preliminary details for both events, and we’ll share more information with you in the days leading up to the meetings.

Refining and revising our designs

We provided some initial design concepts to the East Palo Alto City Council in October. From the comments we received, we’re working on further refinements and revisions to the project.  At our two December meetings we’re relying on you, the public, to let us know if we’re on the right track.

Tuesday, December 11th

This meeting is being held at the Woodland Park Apartments, from 7:00-8:30 PM, at 45/55 Newell Road in East Palo Alto.  This meeting is a “Neighborhood Information Session”, meant to provide residents of the Woodland neighborhood (south/west of 101) with information about how the project will improve their access to the rest of East Palo Alto.

As space is limited for this neighborhood information session, we ask that preference be given to neighborhood residents.  Don’t worry about missing out – the venue for Sunday’s meeting is much bigger.

Sunday, December 16th

This meeting is being held at the St. Francis of Assisi Church, from 3:00-4:30 PM, at 1425 Bay Road.  This meeting is for the whole community, and for anyone else who would like to attend.  We’ll have graphics, mock-ups, and other information on the project to share with the public.  Light refreshments will be served.

This meeting will also serve as a workshop, where you’ll get the chance to weigh in on design options and layouts for the overcrossing.

Tell your friends!

Feel free to share this pdf of the meeting notice (both in English and Spanish) with anyone who might be interested in attending.  We’ll also post the pdf meeting notice on our aptly named Meeting Notices page.
