In a light, pre-holiday week on the Streetsblog calendar, the SF Planning Department wants your ideas for improving Castro Street, and the San Jose Bike Party heads out on a holiday ride.
Here are all the highlights from the Streetsblog calendar:
- Wednesday: SF Planning Department: Castro Street Design Drop-in Office Hours. The Planning Department and the SFMTA plan to start a community planning process early next year to redesign Castro Street between Market and 19th Streets, beginning with drop-in office hours to field ideas this Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- Friday: San Jose Bike Party: Nightmare Before Christmas Ride. Celebrate the solstice and channel the spooky spirit of Krampus on this Christmas/Halloween-themed nighttime ride through the streets of San Jose. 8 p.m.
Keep an eye on the calendar for updated listings. Got an event we should know about? Drop us a line.
