Are you an avid reader of Streetsblog? Have you supported us with donations, or pitched a story or even submitted an op/ed? Have you shared our work with friends in person or on social media? Would you like a chance to get more involved with our publication?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you should consider joining the Streetsblog San Francisco Steering Committee! The Steering Committee is a volunteer committee that meets regularly and provides support to our Streetsblog SF team by providing advice, working on our annual content review, helping program events, and other activities.

The committee meets regularly, usually around ten times a year and usually there are a couple of hours of work to be done between meetings. So there is a time commitment, but it’s not an overwhelming amount.

If you’re interested, send an application letter to Roger Rudick, roger@streetsblog.org and Damien Newton, damien@streetsblog.org. The letter should include some basic biographical information, some details on how you get around town, what Streetsblog coverage you find most interesting and what types of projects you might be interested in bringing to our steering committee.
