Starting today, Wednesday, April 10, we’re taking a little spring vacation from regularly publishing Streetsblog San Francisco.

Another California editor will update headlines and run stories from our affiliates and we have a few other pieces planned. And, of course, keep up with state stories at Streetsblog CAL and Streetsblog LA and national news at Streetsblog USA.

We’ll resume our regular publishing schedule on April 19. In the meantime, if you’ve ever thought about submitting a guest commentary or a post, email Streetsblog publisher Damien Newton.

Streetsblog has migrated to a new comment system. New commenters can register directly in the comments section of any article. Returning commenters: your previous comments and display name have been preserved, but you'll need to reclaim your account by clicking "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in form, entering your email, and following the verification link to set a new password — this is required because passwords could not be carried over during the migration. For questions, contact tips@streetsblog.org.
