Muni TEP Meeting: L-Taraval Travel Time Reduction Proposals

10:41 PM PST on March 2, 2014

From SFMTA:

Muni is considering proposed service and route changes as part of the Transit Effectiveness Project (TEP). Developed with extensive analysis and community input, the TEP proposals will modernize Muni for its 700,000 daily passengers.

The TEP proposes to reduce by 25 to 30% the travel time for the L-Taraval using a combination of stop consolidations and changes to the traffic pattern along Taraval Street. There are also pedestrian amenities proposed such as boarding islands and bulb outs; as well as wheelchair ramps to increase accessibility.

Attend this meeting to provide input and learn more. You can also visit tellmuni.com to give feedback and sign up for updates. In March, the SFMTA Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed service changes and all community input received.
