- Tuesday Active Communities Plan – District 2 Open House with Northern Neighbors. The SFMTA team, with staff support from the SF Bicycle Coalition, is hosting outreach and engagement events to understand transportation needs at the neighborhood level. Tuesday, January 23, 6-8 p.m., NEON, 1974 Union Street, S.F.
- Tuesday ‘Green Mobility Ambassadors’ Program. The public process for transportation infrastructure projects, plans, and policies can seem complex and daunting. Via this Bike East Bay program participants gain information and strategies to navigate this process and be effective advocates. Tuesday, January 23, 6-7:30 p.m. Register for Zoom link.
- Wednesday Building Healthy Communities. Join SPUR for a panel discussion on how healthcare institutions, housing developers, and government agencies are working to build neighborhoods where all people can thrive. Wednesday, January 24, 9-10 a.m., SPUR Urban Center, 654 Mission Street, S.F. Register for this in-person event.
- Thursday Active Communities Plan – Glen Park Association Meeting. The SFMTA team, with staff support from the SF Bicycle Coalition, is hosting outreach and engagement events to understand transportation needs at the neighborhood level. Thursday, January 25, 6:30-8 p.m., St. John’s Catholic School, 925 Chenery Street, S.F.
- Friday Planning for Rebuilding During War: Voices from Ukraine. Join SPUR and the Center for Innovation for an intimate conversation about rebuilding in Ukraine. Friday, January 26, 12:30-2 p.m., SPUR Urban Center, 654 Mission Street., S.F. Register for this in-person event.
- Friday Oak Street Campaign Kickoff. Join the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition for this event to support a quick-build protected bike lane on Oak Street by the Panhandle. Friday, January 26, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Flywheel Coffee Roasters, 672 Stanyan Street, S.F.
- Saturday Rescheduled! Light Up the Night Bike Parade is Returning to Golden Gate Park. This is part of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition’s light-distribution campaign. There will also be a two-mile, family-friendly bike parade loop along JFK Promenade and prizes offered at the end for the most creative light display, so make sure to bring your best set of lit wheels. Saturday, January 27, 5-7 p.m., Peacock Meadow, 240 John F Kennedy Drive, S.F.
